This is a wonderful Gastro pub. It is also a great restaurant with stunning menu's. Dogs are allowed in the pub but need to be well behaved and you can have the same menu. Good views in daylight and extremely friendly staff.

Food never disappoints. A family favourite: we had our wedding reception here, birthdays, dates with hubby and anniversary and food and service is always fantastic. Love how they are passionate with the food and sustainability. The new menu is also great, always a hard choice! Had the Christmas Feast for two and had a nice time. Lovely staff, lovely food, will always come back.

Lovely food. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. Service was so lovely, made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

Our trip here was not a very good one. I ordered the fish and chips with gravy. It came on a slate. So that was a gravy out the window. The three timed cooked chips were so hard. And I'm sure the fish was from Iceland nit the best. Will not be rushing back

Best Sunday dinner we've had for months. Excellent location, nice building, attentive staff. Slightly pricier than other local places but well worth it.

Had a lovely meal here a couple of days ago, but take a bank loan with you - why has food got to this level of expense ? I really appreciate what goes into making these dishes but good grief ! Again it was nice but when ordering a dish I did not have to pay extra for carrots ? It was very busy, so probably just me

What a find!! We visited the Hope & Anchor on a gloriously sunny Friday evening and we were lucky enough to find a table outside. The food was fantastic and the views were lovely. The staff were amazing and very attentive and we were made very welcome. My only point would be the ability to book an outdoor table would be a huge plus point going forward.
